About Us

IAMessenger has occupied space in this universe for many years as an idea, dream, and even an implemented site. It was prayed over and much discussed. But now we've set out with the philosophy that "the caravan will find its way as it travels." We envision it containing writings, sermons, and much more content.

In truth, we wanted to prepare a table for both Christians and those who are curious. We hope you'll spend pleasant time with colorful, informative, and valuable content prepared by different people/ministries.

The content on the site consists of materials themed around "Who is God according to the Christian perspective," shared with permission from different and valuable ministries.

In fact, at a time when there's much correct and incorrect information circulating about which God Christians believe in, we wanted to hear about Christian Faith and its God from Christians themselves.

On the site, you'll find carefully selected articles, short and long videos, sermons, music, and many similar contents connected to this theme.

The site was prepared entirely as an amateur effort, created with purely personal labor without any commercial concerns. On the other hand, we believe that God will be pleased with such work.

Happy browsing,

With love.

Let Us Tell You Before You Ask

What is the Purpose of This Site?

We noticed that the concept of "God" as defined and interpreted by different faiths varies. While according to Faith A, God's character, attributes, likes and dislikes, expectations from humans, and even the meaning of human life are different, according to Faith B these are different despite having some similar aspects.

At the same time, we see many correct or incorrect ideas about the God defined by Christian faith.

Therefore, we wanted to look at questions like who is the God Christians believe in, what is humanity, what is the meaning of life in the context of the Holy Bible (Torah, Psalms, Gospel) and create a platform where those who are curious can learn what Christians believe from their own words, pens, cameras, and voices.
Our intention is absolutely not to be rude to anyone's faith or values. Since you are reading this now, we are somehow guests of your time. We thank you for this.

However, we also want to exercise our right to respond to known misconceptions about our faith and claims like "your book has been changed."

On the other hand, we also envision this site becoming a library of encouraging resources for Christians.

Resources

Many of the contents you'll see on IAMessenger are materials written and created by different ministry groups. Most of these were not produced by IAMessenger but are used with permission from relevant parties with proper attribution.

In this sense, IAMessenger has a structure designed like a library where different sources come together, just like different books coming together.

IAMessenger was designed with a completely amateur purpose and spirit. It has no financial source but consists of volunteers.

Statement of Faith

God: The God who reveals Himself in the Holy Bible is the Lord who created and governs the universe, is all-powerful and all-knowing, holy, just, gracious, and above all loving (1 John 4:8). The God we believe in is unchanging and non-multiplying, and is the one and eternal God (1 Cor 8:5-6). Yet according to the Bible, God is seen as three distinct persons existing from eternity to eternity in His essential being: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each of these possesses all of God's attributes and together form the completeness of God's being. This holy unity is called the "Trinity." (Matt 28:19, 2 Cor 13:14)
Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is the central person of our faith. Jesus has been with God the Father from eternity and is essentially God. His coming to earth and ministry were foretold in many details through the prophets in the Old Testament centuries ago (Luke 24:25-27). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, took on human flesh and was born of the virgin Mary in Bethlehem (Luke 1:26-38). While on earth, Jesus proved He was the promised Messiah by performing many miracles and living a sinless life as fully God and fully human (John 14:6-11). Particularly because of this claim, the leaders of Israel condemned him to crucifixion (Matt 26:62-68). Thus, Jesus Christ was crucified, died, and was buried despite being sinless and innocent. However, three days later, God the Father raised him from death, proving his victory over death and sin (1 Cor 15:3-8). Forty days after his resurrection, He was taken up to God. According to Gospel teachings, Jesus Christ wasn't just a scholar or prophet; He was the Lamb of God who takes away the world's sin (John 1:29). He sacrificed himself in place of humanity by taking on the world's entire sin burden on the cross (Rom 5:6-8). According to Gospel teaching, Jesus Christ is the world's only savior, and salvation is not possible outside of him (1 Tim 2:5-6, Acts 4:12). Today, Jesus Christ is alive in God's presence and will soon return to save those who believe in him (Rev 19:11-16). Then He will sit on the throne and judge all people (Rev 20:11-15).

The Holy Spirit: God's Holy Spirit enables the spiritual rebirth of believing people and seals them as a guarantee of their eternal salvation (John 3:3-8; Eph 1:13-14). The Holy Spirit lives in each believer (John 14:16; Rom 8:9), strengthens them in every way to live a holy life in fellowship with God (Gal 5:22-23), and equips them with spiritual gifts to serve in the community of believers (1 Cor 12:4-7,11).
Salvation: Unlike what many religions teach, a Christ believer cannot be justified before God through good deeds or merits (Eph 2:8-9). According to the Gospel, every person is a joint heir of sin inherited from Adam. Additionally, they deserve hell's punishment as a result of their own sins. We believe that because every person has an eternal nature, they will be resurrected after death and judged before God. Unfortunately, humans cannot escape God's wrath by their own merit. But because the Lord God loves people like His own children, He sent His holy son into the world to bear our death penalty (Rom 3:22-26). Therefore, only by believing in Him can we be justified and reach heaven (John 3:16). Of course, after being saved through faith, we should try to live in a way worthy of the Lord and fulfill His commands (John 14:21). Living deliberately in sin after being saved from sin and death's condemnation is absolutely contrary to the Gospel. The salvation promised in the Gospel is valid and necessary for every person (Rom 10:9-13).

The Holy Bible: We accept the Old Testament (Torah and Psalms) and New Testament (Gospel) as God's infallible and complete inspiration (Matt 5:17-18). These don't cancel each other out but rather complement each other to form the message of the one God. The Bible's message is the salvation plan provided through Jesus Christ. The Old Testament contains revelations given through many prophets, not just those given to Prophet Moses or Prophet David. Similarly, the New Testament (Gospel) was written through Jesus Christ's apostles guided by the Holy Spirit (2 Pet 1:20-21). It is the only reliable, sufficient, and authoritative source for faith, worship, and practice (John 10:35; 1 Cor 4:6; 2 Thess 3:14-15). The revelation process ended with Christ's coming and the completion of the Gospel (Luke 16:16; Rev 22:18-19).

Church: All who are saved form the COMMUNITY OF BELIEVERS (Church) (Acts 2:47). This is called the universal church, and whoever accepts Christ as Lord and Savior has a place in this holy body of Christ (1 Cor 12:27). Believers regularly attend local church communities to live out their faith together and worship (Acts 2:42). Apart from leaders approved among their own members by each local community, no central management system gathering all churches is seen in the Gospel. Christ Jesus himself is the only head of the universal church; therefore, each church community is directly bound to Christ and His word (Eph 1:22; 4:15; 5:23; Col 1:18). Consequently, every believer should strive to love all other believing siblings and maintain unity among believers according to Christ's greatest commandment (1 John 3:11, Eph 4:2).
